Just to clear up any confusion...

Guestlist: first 100 people to sign up on the guest list save $5 on entry fee at the door.

Tickets: $20 in advance, $25 at the door. There are some promo codes floating around to save you $5 when buying online in advance from Ticketweb.ca. These promo codes will no longer be available after Thursday March 13, so buy early to save some money.

One ticket gets in you in all day and night. Come at 3:00, leave for dinner, come back for the party. Stay all day until close. Show up at 11:00. Same admission price. So come early and check out all of the great artists showing and support the local art community, and the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. Besides, you do not want to miss our great live performers.

I have been busy finalizing registration of artists showing at Flavour, and as promised in the Georgia Straight, we will have around 50 people exhibiting in the art show during the day. I am working hard to add them on the artists page as they send in their photos and bio info, so keep checking out the site to see who will be there.

France is uniquely qualified to host this event due to her extensive experience working as an announcer, host, and live MC of several large events such as: Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse opening and closing ceremonies, several Canadian Association of Broadcasters conferences, during the festivities for the IOC during the 2010 Olympic Bid Ceremonies, Youth Skills Canada competition, festivities for the 25th Anniversary Terry Fox Run, to name but a few. She is also a local actor, burgeoning watercolor artist (find her work on hand made greeting cards in the silent auction), and long time supporter of the arts. When Moe Curtin asked her to host Flavour she accepted without hesitation. She’ll be keeping the pace up, getting body painted and introducing all the artists and acts with gusto on March 15th!
